I got to play the Black Panther last night. Wow! It’s lovely! It’s still got the factory fitted Remo heads on it, so I’ll have to try it at some point with my favourite Evans heads. A Power Centre Reverse Dot on the batter and a Glass 500 on the snare side. I like the beefyness it adds but hopefully the Glass 500 won’t dampen things too much as I really like the ring of the drum.
I’m currently really looking forward to time off over Christmas as I’m in much need of rest.
